Dear Steve,
Its been a while. How have you been? I hope you found something worthwhile to do after you left this company.
I've been doing your old job now for about 7 years, and I think its been about that long since we last spoke. Indeed we never got a chance to speak much, as I can tell you were as I am now, ready to get the fuck out. I think I understand now perhaps what you were feeling, as I myself, am ready to get the fuck out.
I hope things have worked out for you, as I hope they will work out for me. My problem is I lack your courage. I can't bring myself to up and quit. The money is, sadly, just too good. I wish I didnt need the damn money. I wish I could find something to do that was actally worth doing. This stuff sure as hell aint :(
